With an enthusiastic response from prominent Greek senior executives working abroad, the first The Greeks Are Back Conference will take place on 21 October 2021, in Athens.
50 Greek senior executives from abroad will meet at the first The Greeks Are Back Conference, offering their knowledge and experience to attract foreign investment in Greece. The participating executives come from 40 international companies, and bring their experiences of working in 12 major countries.
The Greeks Are Back initiative will be organizing an annual Conference of Greek senior executives working abroad, to discuss and propose specific steps to make Greece an attractive investment destination. The 2021 Conference is the inaugural event of the initiative.
The Conference will include plenary discussions in six working groups, which will discuss how to improve Greece’s attractiveness as an investment destination in the following specific areas: green investments, tax framework, talent attraction, innovation and R&D, digital transformation, silver economy.

It is the first time that so many executives will gather, offering their vast experience and deep knowledge of their issues, to submit applied policy proposals to the state regarding the key issue of attracting foreign investment in Greece.”
