Alexandros Boussis is Senior Vice President Commerce, Merchandising & Marketing, and Board Member of Delhaize. He is an experienced people leader, specialised in Food Retail and has been working more than 10 years for Delhaize Belgium & Luxembourg across different functions. Alexandros is recognized in the Benelux market throughout his commercial strategy transformation, customer loyalty & digitalization and food transparency transition. Prior to Delhaize, Alexandros worked 5 years for Ernst & Young in audit and strategy consultancy services.

He holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Economics & Business Administration from the ULB Economic- Solvay Business School (Brussels) and a Master in Financial Management from the UK. He also achieved the Solvay Executive program in Retail and distribution management, and the Leadership Executive Program from the Harvard Business School.

Alexandros is based in Brussels, he is married and father of two children. He has a passion for football, seasports, food, wine & cooking. He has also a strong interest in International politics and diplomacy, and speaks 5 languages (French, Greek, English, Spanish and Dutch).
