Athanasia brings 25+ years of experience in the multinational Pharma/Biotech industry, being a managing director and a global leader.

She studied Chemistry at Ioannina University and Advanced Management at HBS.

Athanasia is committed to value and people-centered leadership and she has achieved repeated successes; in shaping sustainable strategic aspirations, launching new products, building value-focused strategic and operational units, and turning around underperforming ones. She is known for building exceptionally engaged teams and organizations with responsible vision, sustainable growth, and ethical actions.

Athanasia is devoted to everyone’s right to live the life that they prefer and through her role in the health industry, she aims to bring long-term value for the society and the next generations. She is constantly maximizing the opportunities to impact through partnership with society and diverse stakeholder groups. She is actively mentoring and coaching young individuals to achieve their potential beyond existing limitations.

She is a wife, a mother of 2 young adults and she lives in Brussels. She enjoys art and photography and she is passionate about the Aegean Sea, not only as a place but also as a symbol of art, beauty, and philosophy.
