Elena Vakali

Elena Vakali heads up the European Portfolio Management team of Hines and is responsible for investment execution and oversight of all assets on the Hines Investment Management platform across Europe. She joined Hines in 2013 and has worked on several Funds and separate account mandates investing and managing over €3 billion of assets across sectors and risk/return profiles in major European cities. Prior to joining Hines, Elena held fund and asset management roles at AXA Real Estate and J.P. Morgan Asset management in London. She started her career in 2005 as a junior auditor at Ernst & Young in Athens.

Elena is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and holds a BSc in Finance and Banking from the School of Finance and Statistics, University of Piraeus, Greece and an MSc Real Estate Investment and Finance from the Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK.
