Harietta Eleftherochorinou

Dr. Harietta Eleftherochorinou is the managing Vice President of Innovation Ventures at IQVIA, an S&P 500 company with 80k+ employees and operations in 100+ countries. Through this role, Harietta leads globally the capital investments and strategic partnerships with startups under a vision to transform healthcare and accelerate sustainable positive patient impact, one patient at a time.

Her work has been recognized with multiple significant awards, including GOLD STEVIE® Award 2022 in the category Most Innovative Women of the Year – Healthcare, Fortune 40 under 40 (2022), Top 25 Women Leaders in UK Healthcare (2019) award as an AI Pioneer, the Deloitte Outstanding Achievement for Client Service (2018), the UK Cloud Award of the Year on Innovation (2016) in Analytics, prestigious European Union and Welcome Trust funding for research on genomics (2007-2014).

Harietta is an AI pioneer with 20 years of experience in designing and implementing large scale AI solutions for health, well respected in her field globally. A thought-provoking presenter, who is also committed to diversity, ethos and inclusion, Harietta is invited to several forums as speaker, is a Women in STEM ambassador and acts as a mentor to the new generation of curious minds. An electrical and computer engineer, she holds an MSc in Bioinformatics and PhD in Medicine from Imperial College London and MSc in Leadership at Columbia Business School.
