Irene Paganopoulou

Head of Human Resources @ Pfizer Hellas & Cyprus

Irene Paganopoulou has 20 years of experience in the field of HR. As Head of Human Resources at Pfizer Hellas & Cyprus since 2010, she has led major projects such as mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and innovative initiatives, while specializing in talent and career transition and in shaping corporate culture.

Since 2020, she is leading, in addition, the creation and staffing of Pfizer’s two Global Centers in Thessaloniki: CDI (Center of Digital Innovation) and GBS (Global Business Services), with high volumes of recruiting new talents, attracting also Greek candidates from abroad contributing substantially to brain gain.

She has BSc in Psychology and holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management (University of Stirling) and an MBA (University of Strathclyde). She advocates and actively promotes Diversity and Inclusion, equal opportunities and respect for every human being, arguing that this pluralism is an important component and positively enriches the corporate culture of every organization.
