Pantazis Kourtis

Global Head of Information and Cyber Security @ Vistra

Pantazis holds over 20 years of experience in the Information and Cyber Security arena, with his key experience spanning the advisory, finance, transportation, media, energy and private equity sectors. Pantazis ’s expertise centers on the delivery of pragmatic and sustainable outcomes for business leadership and customers at strategic, technical, and operational levels.

Pantazis currently serves as the Global Head of Information and Cyber Security for Vistra leading a global team to deliver high quality IT security services across 85 Vistra offices and 46 jurisdictions around the world. In the years leading to that, Pantazis headed up the Business Information Security Office at Barclays coordinating and delivering Barclays global risk and controls framework, led large multidiscipline international teams and successfully delivered strategic multimillion security programs as the CISO at Reed Business Information, EoN E&P, and Head of Security Operations at the British Aviation Authority.

Pantazis holds a Computer Science degree from the American college of Greece and a Master’s degree in Information Security Management from Liverpool university. Pantazis also holds a number of professional certifications for Information and Cyber security such as CISM, CRISC, CGEIT.
