Stelios Matthaiou

Stelios Matthaiou is a business executive with experience in the online and physical commerce space having held roles with online pure players but also with businesses in the B2B, Retail and FMCG industries. He is currently the Global Director at Expedia Group, leading the Strategy and Transformation for the Activities and Ground Transportation lines of business.

He has served as a consultant and an advisor with EY, IBM, and independently, building strategies and helping organisations transform, serve their customers better, and achieve growth in an ever-changing digital world. He has also held several positions with eBay leading teams in Trading & Marketing, Operations, and Product Development, having responsibility for a multi-billion-dollar platform sales target.

He holds an MBA from Athens University of Economics and Business, has studied Business Administration in University of Piraeus and he is a CIMA Chartered Management Accountant.
Stelios is based in London and he is an Ambassador for the MBA International Programme of Athens University of Economics and Business. He is passionate about Business Management and Leadership, and he enjoys coaching and mentoring professionals. He spends most of his free time with friends and family, traveling, and snowboarding.
